| Facts Found 1. Race 5 was abandoned due to a missing mark and subsequently restarted. 2. 15 minutes prior to the new warning signal the Race Committee displayed Course 2 with numeral pennant 2 in accordance with the Sailing Instructions. 3. Course 2 plus numeral 2 means Start-W-L-W-F with the finish downwind as described in the Saililng Instructions. 4. Rascal did not see the course signal. 5. Rascal sailed S-W-L-W-L-F and finished upwind, then returned and finished downwind and recorded by the Race Committee at 13:49:06. 6. Rascal was scored DNF. |

| Conclusion The Race Committee incorrectly scored Rascal as DNF. By crossing the Finish Line in the direction of the last mark, Rascal had finished. Rascal also rounded all marks on the required side, despite that Rascal sailed around additional marks. |
